PREP
Remove the metal top from your ornament.
Put a clothespin in the end. You can also use a dowel etc. (You just need something to hold your ornament while you paint and stand upright in the styrofoam while it drys.)
Clean off the ornament with alcohol using a cotton pad.

You will be adding several layers of paint. Add the first (thin) layer of paint using a makeup sponge, letting each layer dry before adding the next. Add more layers of paint at the top and fade as you go down.

Continue adding more layers until you receive the desired effect.

You will want your ornaments to cure for 3 to 4 days before adding them to your tree.
